Administration of Medication Course

The following is a list of Administration of Medication Courses in Connecticut. Certification consists of administering oral, topical and inhalant medications and is valid for three (3) years. Administering injectable medications, including epipen, is valid for one (1) year.

Training Requirements: The instructor shall be a physician, physician assistant, advanced practice registered nurse or registered nurse. It is the responsibility of the child care program to verify with the course instructor/agency that the course you sign up for is appropriate for the children within your program.
