CPR

2-1-1 Child Care has referrals to instructors/agencies that  offer CPR courses that meet the approval of the Office of Early Childhood Licensing Division. Currently, the Licensing Division accepts curriculum from: American Red Cross, American Heart Association, American Safety and Health Institute, Medic First Aid, and National Safety Council. The American Red Cross certification is valid for one (1) year. The American Heart Association certification is valid for two (2) years. All licensed child care centers shall have at least on (1) staff member present at all times who has current certification in CPR.   It is the responsibility of the child care program to verify with the course instructor/agency that the course is appropriate for the ages of the children within your program.
