New Training & Technical Assistance Opportunities
Care 4 Kids Provider Orientation Training & Annual Professional Development
All providers who receive a Care 4 Kids subsidy are required to complete an orientation training and ongoing professional development to build their knowledge and skills.
New Online Training Opportunity
Online Health and Safety training is open to all center based and licensed family child care providers regardless of receiving child care subsidy
Now available: 5 Hour On-line Health and Safety Orientation for Providers
This orientation is available to providers who have all three valid certificates: First Aid, CPR and Medication Administration approved by OEC Licensing Division. All valid certificates should be sent to the Office of Early Childhood (OEC) Professional Registry prior to requesting an online subscription. All providers must have an OEC Professional registry account.
Request for Proposal (RFP)
United Way of Connecticut, Inc. (UWC) is seeking proposals from parties interested in providing contracted support for Accreditation and Quality Improvement Support (AQIS) services as offered through the CT Office of Early Childhood Thrive! Quality Recognition and Improvement System.
Proposals must be submitted to Thrive at Thrive@ctunitedway.org
Proposals must be received via email no later than 3:00 PM on May 24 2017.
The subject line of the email should contain “AQIS RFP”
Proposals will be reviewed by an application screening committee
Proposers will be notified in writing by the United Way of Connecticut of the final determination of their proposal.
